Advanced Composition provides students the opportunity to take a college-level writing course in the supportive environment of high school. In Advanced Composition, students develop, polish, and hone their writing and communication skills for a variety of personal, professional, and academic contexts. Students will write in multiple modalities while integrating sources, developing higher order thesis statements, and enhancing their critical thinking skills. In this class, students utilize the writing process and complete necessary revisions to improve their writing.
