Small gas engine users of any level benefit from having an understanding of engine fundamentals and service procedures. Power To Go is a course designed to provide students with practical knowledge of small engine theory, construction, operation, troubleshooting, inspection, service, rebuilding and repair as it relates to portable power sources (e.g. lawnmowers, snow blowers, rototillers, etc.) Upon completion of the course, the student is required to recondition a single cylinder four-cycle engine (student supplied) ranging from 3 to 20 horsepower. Throughout the course, the emphasis will be on application.
