Explore the laws that impact our lives and where they come from. Examine sources of law and analyze how they affect your lives. Learn what makes up a crime and when you can sue for compensation. Observe the court process and legal careers at the courthouse. Compare the criminal and civil trial process and participate in a mock trial demonstrating the process. Developing a basic understanding of criminal and civil law is beneficial for anyone considering a career in law or wanting to learn how to be prepared for legal situations in the future. This course is recommended to help you prepare for Everyday Law.
