This course is open to any student who has met the prerequisite. However, proficiency in Language of Medicine is suggested as well, but not required. If interested in pursuing more courses in the Health Science pathway, Language of Medicine is strongly recommended.


Human Anatomy and Physiology provides advanced background in the major human body systems, the tissues and organs of those systems, their related physiology and pathologies. This course will include traditional and independent learning, laboratory activities and the use of the Anatomage Table to view and virtually dissect structures in real human cadavers. This course is highly recommended for students planning on entering the medical field. This course is also of value to students who are interested in athletic training, general health topics and personal well-being.
