This course is designed to teach students how to use 3D and 2D CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) software to create models and drawings of their ideas and designs. Knowledge gained in this course can be applied to a variety of courses offered in our school, as well as post secondary training. Students will create prototypes of their projects utilizing a variety of digital technologies (laser engravers, 3D printers, vinyl cutters, and CNC equipment, etc.) found in the newly constructed STEAM/FAB Lab. If you like to utilize digital technology design and bring your ideas to life, then this course is for you.
