Visual Arts and Crafts is designed to develop hands-on skills by teaching students about creating functional and decorative crafts. Explore the history and purpose of craft making while examining artists that influence how we see crafts today. Research new techniques with everyday mediums, such as fibers, through project based learning. All students benefit from taking a balance of courses and the practical skills taught in class lend themselves to everyday use.  If you are considering a career pathway in Arts, Audio/Video Technology, Communications, and Education register for Visual Arts and Crafts.
