Accounting 2 is an intermediate accounting course in which students learn the steps of the accounting cycle for a merchandising business that is organized as a corporation.


Knowledge of basic accounting principles is necessary for anyone who is planning to pursue a career in entrepreneurship, management, accounting, business, marketing, law, or healthcare administration.


Note: Successful completion of Accounting 2 is a prerequisite for Accounting 3. Students who meet college-specified criteria in Accounting 1, 2, and 3 may earn transcripted credit from Chippewa Valley Technical College.
