Some of the most memorable stories have come to us from the small island of Great Britain.  If you love dystopian literature, Shakespeare, and the tales of King Arthur, British Literature is for you.  Students may read Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the dystopian novel 1984, and one additional novel of their choice such as Treasure Island, Pride and Prejudice, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Dracula, or Fellowship of the Ring.  Writing activities are integrated into the various units of study. This class is recommended for university-bound students and students who love to read.
