Dramatic Arts

Dramatic Arts is a quarter-long course in which students will be introduced to play interpretation and performance, theater history, and appreciation.  Performance study includes participatory warm ups, theater games, pair work, structured improvisations, acting terminology, and the performance of scripted scenes.  Dramatic history, theory and methods of analysis will be included in play interpretation, which includes plays both read and watched.
