Explore the benefits and risks of self-employment, develop a business or service idea, and create a hypothetical business plan on how to create the business. Work with local entrepreneurs and professionals to examine and apply concepts related to product development, industry information, target markets, marketing and sales, management, and financial information related to your business. Pitch your business idea in a “Shark Tank'' style presentation to community members. Opportunity to become certified in Small Business and Entrepreneurship, which indicates that you have a great understanding of all areas related to working in and running a business.
