Using a TI-83+ or TI-83 calculator, students will verify and explore the basic principles of probability which involve the study of the chance or likelihood of an event happening, and investigate the gathering, organizing, and interpreting of statistical data. Since more and more career fields require statistical analysis and a basic understanding of probability, this course is recommended for students. A TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator is recommended.
