Eagles

The white-tailed eagle was almost an extinct species in the Baltic. But it can be seen regularly in the Stockholm archipelago in recent years as well as along the shores of the whole Baltic sea and coast of Norway. Eagle population are permanent in the southern Baltic shores, while the northern part of the Baltic sea will host eagle populations during nidification. Along the Nowegian coast white-tailed eagle populations are permanent.

Adults size ranges from 70 to 90 cm, for a weight between 4 yo 6 kg. The wing span can be as much as 2.4 metres.
