Skudeneshavn

Skudeneshavn is a town and harbour located at the southernmost tip of the Karmøy island.

The old Skudeneshavn is one of the best preserved set of more than one hundred old wooden houses. Every year, at the end of June or beginning of July, there is a large boat gathering including tall ships and old boats.

Getting there

By commercial transport

Skudeneshavn is connected to the main land by bus services. A ferry is available oin the way to go to Stavanger.

By own boat

The approach to the harbour should follow the channel marks. The harbour is well protected from all winds. Fare: 200 NOK without electricity.
