Ringsön is a very sheltered set of small coves on the largest island of the Sörmland archipelago. It makes a very nice stopover before entering the Stockholm archipelago or heading south of Sweden. There are no facilities on Ringsön.
The island is covered with forest and pasture. On the southern part is a lake that was in the past a fishing harbour bay which got closed by the post glacial land uplift. Close to it is a nice sandy beach.
Ringsö is not accessible by public transport but it is very close to the mainland and taxi boats can be hired.
The set of coves are well protected. Anchoring is possible everywhere in the inlet, and on several places it is possible to moore on the rocks.
