Trysunda

The bay in Trysunda is well protected from all winds. The small guest harbour is at the entrance of the bay on the northern shore. The island of Trysunda has been called the "most beautiful island" in Sweden.

Like Ulvön, Trysunda was a fishing station for Gävle fishermen. The small chapel is decorated with interesting frescoes. There is a small fishing museum. The northern shore is covered of red and white washed granit stones and pebbles.

Getting there

By public transport

The ferry from Köpmanholmen takes 30 minutes. Several rotations of ferries are taking place during the summer.

By sailing boat

The bay is well protected from all winds. The guest harbour is a small pontoon with mooring is done on a stern buoy and bow to the pontoon. It is advisable to arrive early afternoon in order to find a place.
