Mala Stenar

Mala stenar, or the stones of Mala, is a grave field that was used from 800 BC until 600 to 900 AD. It is spread over an area of 95 x 80 metres. It includes 43 stones, 11 of which have fallen, six ship-settings and one stone circle. The largest ship, made of 16 stones, is 16.5 metre long and 6 metre wide.

The place was chosen for being a hill so as to be seen from a distance. No archeological excavations have been carried-out at this site.
