Huvudskär

Huvudskär, the "archipelago head" is a unique small archipelago close to Stockholm and Nynäshamn. There is no marina in Huvudskär but mooring can be done on the various rocks of the inlet according t the wind direction. Alternatively, there are two Svenska Kryssar Klubb buoys available for members.

The approach to Huvudskär requires a bit of attention and the eye on the chart plotter as there is neither a straight way in nor a marked channel. Besides, check for practices in the Utö firing range which extend to the south of Huvudskär.
