Hasle

Bornholm is a fantastic island, worth the visit of at least 1 week. several very different landscapes are opposed: North is rocky, from granite, with moors. South is sandy, so thin sand that it was used for centuries to make sand watches , and to dry parchments after writing.

One of the most important things to visit in Bornholm is the fortified chapels, very particular!

Nexø is an important harbour on E coast, useful only with its chandlery and diesel, but not nice.

Hasle is the best way to enter Bornholm Island from west. Nice little town, Museum, smoking room for fish...

We could charge for free an app on Ipad and Iphones with an interactive map . It was also possible to hire a car for a very cheap price (directly from a "friend of the HM") to visit the island, which is fantastic.

The Tourists are an important way for Hasle to earn money: a lot of small cottages, and (in 2014) a rehabilitation of old silos , in order to make flats!
