Carolina Benedicks Bruce

Carolina Maria Benedicks-Bruce (28 October 1856 – 16 February 1935) was a Swedish sculptor. She went to France and joined the Swedish artist colony of Gréz-par-Nemours where she met her husband, the Canadian painter William Blair Bruce. They returned to Sweden and established an artist estate called Brucebo in Själsö, Väskinde, Gotland. She was an engaged artist fighting for the right to vote for women.
