Täby church

The medieval Täby church dates from the mid 1200s' with possibly a wooden church. The church in stone was erected around the mid-1300s'. The vaulting was built in the 15th century to replace the wooden roof. The paintings in the church are from Albertus Pictor and date 1480. Täby is one of the best preserved church as the paintings were never whitewashed over.

Votive ship from the XVII century

The altarpiece made in northern Germany dates from the 1470s.

Täby is accessible easily by public transport from Stockholm, in 45 minutes.
