It is not allowed to anchor in the harbour. Hävringe is a nice stop over when cruising along the coast towards or from the Stockholm archipelago.

The lighthouse is no longer in activity.

Hävringe used to be a pilot station as early as the 1600s. It is now managed by the National Property board and is a Natura2000 area. Dogs and pets are not allowed to be disembarked. It is requested to stay on the footpaths when goig around the island because of the many protected bird species living there.

There are many grass snakes and adders on the island. There is no fresh water and no garbage collection but public toilets are free to use..
