Reposaari church

The church was built in 1876. The church can seat approximately 250.

The paintings on the ceiling of the church are dating from 1876. Interestingly, the crucifix is made of "bois flottés", pieces of wood brought by he sea on the shore in the area.

The interior of the church was during a renovation in 1928. Lennart Segerstråle painted four large paintings on the church wall: “God’s Covenant with Noah”, “Jesus Calms the Storm”, “Jesus Saves Peter from Drowning” and “The Sea Gives up its Dead”.
