Överselö church
Överselö church is a medieval church on Selaön island. The church was built in the XIII century in the Romanesque style. The church is decorated with numerous pictures from the XV century made by various artists from the Mälaren. It hosts, among other, the cherished Överselö Madonna crafted in oak by a sculptor from Gotland.
The closest place to access the church is Stallarholmen, which has a very small guest pier just on the east of the opening bridge.
Runestone 204 reads "Here the stone shall stand for his uncle"
Rune stone 205 reads "Ingjald and Visäte and Stenulv they raised the stone after Karl's father and Gilög after her husband and Inga after her son and Ärnger after his brother. Äsbjörn and Tidkume cut the runes (Orökja painted)"
Runestone 206 reads "Here these red rune stones shall stand. Gudlog raised them for his sons and Hjalmlog for his brothers"
Runestone 207 reads "Gud ... his father. He went bravely to England. God help his soul".

By public transport
40 minutes bus ride from Läggesta station, on the way from Stockholm to Strängnäs.
By sailing boat
The closest marina is Stallarholmen, the first pier east of the opening bridge. The approach is straight forward, but the guest pier is very small, just for a handfull of boats. Full service, 175 SEK/night (August 2019) including electricty.
