Eläintarha, Helsinki, Finland, May 30–31, 1925
Olympic Champion in 1920 and bronze medallist in 1924, Vilho Tuulos from Tampere, jumped 15.06 (49-5) in the triple jump at the HKV Games at the Eläintarha field on the last weekend of May. At the end of 1925, it could be noted with satisfaction that the result was enough for the world leading spot. However, the global level of the event dropped almost half a meter from the Paris Olympic year.
Second place in the triple jump competition was achieved by 19-year-old Akilles Järvinen with 14.16 (46-5 ½), son of Verner Järvinen and future two-time Olympic silver medalist in the decathlon.
In the same games, the Olympic runner-up in the 400m hurdles, Erik Wilén, clocked a Finnish Record of 28.0 in the 200m hurdles.
