Manila, Philippines, May 17–22, 1925
The standout performer of the 7th Far Eastern Games was Filipino Fortunato Catalon, who claimed victory in the 100 metres for the fifth consecutive time. In the 200 metres, however, he was bested by his compatriot David Nepomuceno, who had also competed in the Paris Olympics.
Future Olympic triple jump champion Mikio Oda secured his second consecutive win in his event, though his performance (14.08m) was modest by his standards. Another future triple jump Olympic gold medallist, Chūhei Nambu, earned silver in both the high jump and triple jump, along with bronze in the long jump.
