Drake Stadium, Des Moines, IA, April 24–25, 1925
Butler College won the long relay at the Drake Relays with a time of 3:18.2. The result was nearly a second faster than the Penn Relays winning time, making it the fastest of the season when comparing the two simultaneous relay carnivals.
George Guthrie, disqualified at the Paris Olympics, won the 120-yard hurdles in 14.8 seconds. In a close rematch of the Olympic hurdles, Paris winner Dan Kinsey lost by a narrow margin.
The Drake Relays were held for the first time at the new Drake University stadium, which was distinct from the original Drake Stadium completed in 1904.
