Glenn Hartranft, who dominated the shot put and discus circles in the 1925 season, cruised to yet another double victory at the Pacific Coast Conference in Seattle. The shot put landed at the second-best mark of the season, 15.27 (50-1¼). The season leader of 15.39 was also held by Hartranft.
In the discus, Hartranft set the fifth-best mark of the season, 46.12 (151-4). At the same time, he defeated his strong rival and teammate from Stanford, Clifford Hoffman.
