Now that your organization is using Vista and Vista Web in the Trimble Viewpoint cloud, your logins will be changing to use Trimble ID instead of your previous methods, whatever those may have been.
Please note that as of today, if you are not yet set up to use Trimble ID to log in to Vista Web, you may also log in with your PR Employee number and a password. As this is not nearly as secure as Trimble ID, we recommend for all customers to switch to Trimble ID SSO to log in to Vista Web. Please NOTE, once you are set up to log in to the Vista Web Portal using Trimble ID, you will lose the ability to login via that Employee number and password and will be required to log in via Trimble ID.
Please see below for detailed first and subsequent login steps.
IMPORTANT
Please note that during your FIRST TIME LOGIN ONLY into Vista Web, after your TID account has been set up, you MAY need to LINK your Vista Web Portal account with the new TID account that you have created in the previous article: Creating Your Trimble ID SSO Account .
If you receive an error, saying that your account has NOT been linked yet to Vista Web, then you should either continue with steps 8 and onward to link your account, OR if you do not know your employee number and password, you can reach out to your IT administrator to have them link your account in Vista Web for you.
Browse to your Vista Web portal URL.
When you arrive there, you will see a screen that looks like the below. Please click on the "Log In with Viewpoint ID" button.
NOTE: Once you have linked your Vista Web account to Trimble ID, you will not need to choose the company or enter your employee number and password. Please reach out to your company's IT if you have any questions about whether or not you will be using your employee number and password or Trimble ID to log in to Vista Web.

3. After clicking the "Login with Viewpoint ID" button the previous page will redirect you to a Trimble Construction One screen. This screen will ask for you to enter your email address to login with Trimble ID. This email can either be your corporate address, OR if you do not have a corporate email, it can be your personal email address.
4. Enter your email address and click Next.

5. The Trimble ID login screen will now appear. Please ensure your username (always your email if you've set up your account according to these instructions) is correct and click "Next".

6. If your are using a corporate email, linked to Microsoft Azure AD (Entra ID) or Okta, you will now be redirected to those tools to finish your login process.
OR
7. If your Trimble ID email address is NOT your corporate email, OR if your corporate email is NOT linked to Azure AD or Okta, you will now need to enter your password for Trimble ID.

8. Please note that if you have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) set up for your TC1 account, you will next be prompted for an MFA code, or to receive an SMS text, or an email. Please follow those steps to finish the login process.
If you have already performed your first time login into Vista Web using Trimble ID, you will be DONE at this point and can ignore the following steps: you're in Vista Web!
Linking Your Vista Web Portal User to Trimble ID
The final stage in your journey to signing in to Vista Web (HFF / Keystyle) with Trimble ID is to "link" your existing account in Vista Web with your new Trimble ID account. In many cases you will already have had your Vista Web account linked to your Trimble ID SSO identity and you will not see the below error. If, however, you see the below error about linking your account, you can proceed one of two ways:
If you do not know your employee number and Vista Web specific password, you should reach out to your IT administrator to let them know that your Vista Web account still needs to be linked to your Trimble ID SSO identity.
Please note that this error can also occur if your email address in Trimble ID, Vista, and Vista Web do not ALL match each other. In other words, your email address MUST be the same across all systems in the Trimble Viewpoint cloud.
If you know your employee number, payroll company to select in the dropdown, and your Vista Web specific password, you may proceed with the detailed steps below.
Please see the detailed steps and screen shots below:
Figure 11: Your Vista Web account is not yet linked to your new Trimble ID account.
We'll be starting with step "8" here as this is nothing more than a continuation of the previous 8 steps to login as you would normally do.
9. By now, you have already tried to log in via the Trimble ID steps 1-8 above. Instead of being logged in to Vista Web though, you should now see a screen that looks like the above, warning you that "You do not have a Vista Web portal account associated with this Viewpoint ID...". This error means that your existing portal account in Vista Web has not yet been LINKED to your new Trimble ID account.
10. Select your appropriate Payroll company number.
11. Enter your Vista Web Employee number.
12. Enter your Vista web-specific Password.
NOTE: If you are uncertain of your password, employee number, or company, please reach out to your local Vista Web administrator for assistance.
13. Click the "SIGN IN" blue button; NOT the "Login with Trimble ID" or the "Use Windows Account" button.

14. The process to link your account should be complete and you will be logged in to the Vista Web home page.
15. To verify that your account in Vista web is now linked to your new TID account, please click on your user name in the upper right hand corner of Vista web. If you see the icon, "VPID Linked", you're done!
