NOTE: The method previously documented here is no longer valid.
INSTEAD, please see the following:
IF you are using Trimble ID / Viewpoint ID SSO for authentication (usually for VRL-using customers), please reset your password using your federated SSO Identity provider.
IF you are using SSO, but on a STANDALONE basis, without integration to a third party identity provider like Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta, please go to https://myprofile.trimble.com, then attempt to log in. Click on the reset password link that will be shown.
IF you are using our Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), you will need to use the Cascade portal. Here is a Vista Cloud FAQ article that will provide more details on this topic: How to reset passwords in Cascade Portal
Please note that moving to SSO will usually simplify authentication, as you will be able to federate our Trimble ID with your Azure AD or Okta for full SSO. Assuming you are using Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta to log in to your other services, this will enable you to use a single set of credentials to authenticate, thus simplifying your life.

Added note on SSO, and one to clarify that company identifiers are what is used for user names in our non-SSO authentication setups, not email addresses per se; thus your login name may, in some cases, not be your email address.
