Where is Vista hosted?  What regions do you use when I host Vista in the Viewpoint Cloud?

When customers host Vista with Viewpoint, they are entrusting us to provide world-class reliablity, security, and power.  To that end, Viewpoint has partnered with Microsoft Azure for hosting Vista.  This provides unprecedented geographical reach, with data centers in multiple locations around North America and Australia.  In addition, Azure's uptime and feature-richness are key factors, especially when considering the fact that many of our project management and Viewpoint One applications are hosted in Azure already.  By hosting Vista in Azure as well, customers see significant benefits in terms of future capabilities, as well as ongoing stability.

As of 26 April 2024, we have presence in the following Azure regions:

• • West US 2 (Tri-Cities, Washington State)

  • West US (Fresno, CA)

  • Central US (Des Moines)

  • North-Central US (Chicago, IL)

  • South-Central US (Dallas, TX)

  • East US (Virginia)

  • East US 2 (Virginia Border - 60 mi North of Raleigh, NC)

  • Central Canada (Toronto)

  • Australia East (Sydney)

Additional regions will be made available as time permits.  In the meantime, as part of any move into our cloud, customers will be evaluated to ensure that your data is situated as close to your place of business as geographically possible.
