Product Description:

Trimble's Accubid Classic is an estimating program designed to provide electrical contractors with the ability to generate accurate and detailed bids on potential projects.

Integration Method:

As a client-side, imports-integrated app, this solution can either be hosted with Viewpoint on our terminal servers or hosted on the customer's own local workstations. The customer may continue to host this solution locally on their local workstations. Conversely, as this product is a Trimble solution, the customer may choose to have Viewpoint host this solution in our cloud. However, the customer must have a Viewpoint One, VEC (RDP Published Apps), Vista SaaS, or VFC contract in order to request this option.

Setting Up Integration:

1. First, merely ensure you have the appropriate licensing for Accubid and Accubid hosting on your contract.

2. Then, open a cloud support case with Viewpoint requesting the installation of this tool.

3. Provide Viewpoint staff with any applicable license keys when asked.

Viewpoint will then publish the application as a published app, or if you are hosted in VFC, it will appear in your Virtual Desktop.

tl;dr: Customers who need to integrate Accubid Classic with Vista need to either host it with us or have it installed locally. This tool uses import files into Vista, so no VPN is required.
