Error "No application associated with the specified file for this operation" when printing or viewing a report

This error in Vista, both on-premise and in our cloud using VRL, implies one of three things:

• • There is no Adobe PDF reader installed

  • The reader that is installed is not fully compatible with Vista

  • The PDF file extension / type is not associated to your PDF reader of choice

NOTE:  Viewpoint recommends to use Adobe Acrobat Reader if at all possible, as we do not officially test with or support any other PDF reader application.
