Product Description:
Reqourdit's CloudOCR solution provides customers with the ability to recognize text on submitted documents and normalize the recognized text into specific fields for Vista records. For example, recognizing the vendor names, line items, amounts, etc. in a stack of AP invoices, embedding the OCR'd text into a resulting PDF file and then submitting those for import into Vista.
This integration is for OCR ONLY and is NOT the same integration as the document mangement solution, OnBase, also provided by Requordit.
Integration Method:
As per many other cloud-hosted solutions from third parties, Requordit's CloudOCR is hosted in a third party cloud and connects to Vista using a VPN. Setting up a VPN and configuring exports from CloudOCR to point to Vista's imports folder is all that is necessary to make this integration work.
NOTE: In some cases, the customer will need to host a connector to CloudOCR on-premise, and then connect to Vista in the cloud using that connector over the IPSEC VPN tunnel.
tl;dr: Customers who need to integrate Requordit CloudOCR with Vista in our cloud need to have purchased the IPSEC VPN add-on. We then coordinate with Requordit to configure the imports correctly.
