RTO is the time by which we estimate that a particular customer's environment will be restored in the event of an outage. We do not have an official Recovery Time Objective (RTO that applies to all customers. Restoration time will vary depending upon customer place in the queue. After a catastrophic incident (e.g. asteroid hitting a datacenter), some customers will be restored in less than an hour, while some customers being restored within day or two, and some may take a week or longer for full restoration. Customers with third party integrations will take additional time to restore those third party integrations and the connectivity between them.
At the simplest level, the RPO is the determination of how much time elapses from one backup to another. In other words, how much data is at risk if a production environment were to go down. RPO is impacted by the frequency of backups, including both transaction logs and snapshots.
Please see the following for specifics related to both Spectrum and Vista clouds:
Vista: 60 min RPO
Spectrum: 30 min RPO
