Viewpoint does not directly support the integration of Salesforce.com (SFDC) into Vista, whether cloud-hosted or not. That said, there are multiple avenues to provide CRM integration to Vista in our cloud. Including:

• • Direct Integration with an existing Vista CRM partner, such as Cosential.

  • Middleware integration using an independent, third-party integrator such as Ryvit.

    • Ryvit can link Vista and many other solutions through their integration framework. To enable this, you would need to purchase the Ryvit solution from Ryvit and either:

      • A. Host it externally, connected over the TLS Database Endpoint (TLS VPN) or IPSEC VPN (recommended)

      • or

      • B. Purchase the additional Viewpoint cloud server that is necessary to host the Ryvit data connector in our cloud.

Deployment Methodology:

• • We do not support hosting or direct integration of this product in our cloud. As such, you, as the customer, must work with a third party, hosting the approved third party externally, connected over a VPN to our environment, or host it in our cloud whilst paying for an additional server.

tl;dr: Customers who need to integrate Salesforce with Vista in our cloud should partner with vendors like Ryvit to provide an independent connection. An additional cloud server may be need to be purchased depending on the deployment method chosen.
