Removing Users from the Cascade Portal

Overview

The Cascade portal is used in our Trimble Viewpoint Vista ERP clouds for several key workflows:

Given that, it is possible that your organization may need to remove users from the Cascade portal to allow for those needs above to be met.

As such, it is important for anyone with admin rights in the Cascade portal to understand how to remove or delete users from Cascade.  Please read on for detailed instructions on how to delete a user from the Cascade Portal.

IMPORTANT

If you use VRL to access Vista and use SSO for logins, AND you do NOT need access to the Viewpoint Repository folder or any other file share for on the Vista server, then you will likely NOT use Cascade and thus this article may not apply to you.  Please reach out to Trimble Viewpoint support or your local IT if you have any doubt.

Removing a User

Figure 1:  Login to Cascade and click the trash can for the user you wish to delete.

4.  You will then need to confirm your action by typing the full first and last name of the user you wish to delete.

9.  Click "Confirm" and the portal will then delete the user.
