So he opened a little window of optimism in the wall of his sadness

لا وجود لكلمة “مستحيل” في قواميس المؤمنين بالنجاح

تألبت عليها الذكريات بحلوها ومرها

تاقت نفسها لتلك السعادة التي تفوق الوصف

أيتها الحياة ، لقد اجتليت كنهك في محيا الجمال
O Life! I have discerned your essence in the countenance of beauty
وسمعت صوتك في صمت الغابات
And heard your voice in the silence of the forests
وعاينت شموخك في القمم والقامات السامقة
And beheld your eminence in high peaks and towering figures
واستجليت ملامحك في عظمة التواضع
And perceived your features in the greatness of humility
وشربت طيبتك من ينبوع الإخلاص
And quaffed your goodness from the fountain of sincerity
تمنح الحياة كنوزها للذين ينقبون عنها بجد واجتهاد

ما أرحب الدروب المؤدية إلى الهدر والضياع

الحياة مدرسة والتجارب دروسها
Life is a school and experiences are its lessons
الأمل شعاع يطرد ظلمة اليأس
Hope is a ray that chases away the darkness of despair
المواظبة نظير النجاح
Perseverance is the counterpart of success
جمال الروح روح الجمال
Beauty of the spirit is the essence of beauty
نغمات حانية تنعش الروح

أهداف نبيلة لا تُبلغ إلا بالسعي الجاد والمثابرة

كما لو كانت أفكارها مستلهمة من جنان الخلد

أحاسيس عميقة تهز النفس
Profound and soul-stirring feelings
عقول نيرة ونوايا طيبة وعزائم لا تلين
Bright minds, good intentions, and unbendable resolves
احتفظت بتوازنها النفسي وسط الفوضى والمشتتات
She maintained her mental balance amidst chaos and distractions
كان على جانب كبير من الفهم ورجاحة العقل
He possessed a great measure of understanding and prudence
لم تفته شاردة من مكنونات المعاني
Not a single jot of the intended meaning escaped him
تـُعرف بأفكارها الجريئة وحيويتها الفياضة
She is known for her brave ideas and exuberant vitality
لا يلقي بالاً للترهات ويترفع عن الصَغائر

لا بد من إبداع شيء جديد في هذه الحياة

أوفى بالتزاماته وحقق أهدافه
He fulfilled his obligations and attained his goals
أطلقت أفكارها كالشهب في سماء حياتها
She launched her thoughts as shooting stars in the firmament of her life
يستمتع بالغوص في بحر الإبداع الذي لا ساحل له
He enjoys diving in the shoreless sea of creative thinking
من لم يألُ جهداً في محاولة بلوغ النجاح فهو ناجح
Whoever spares no effort to achieve success is already successful
ما أروع جمال الروح وما أبهى روح الجمال
How magnificent is the beauty of the spirit
And how splendid is the spirit of beauty
يا لها من مهمة جبارة

الحياة فيها أشواك وفيها ورود أيضاً
Life has thorns and also roses
للكلمة الطيبة هالة متوهجة
A good word has a shimmering halo
جميل كالصباح وقوي كالحق
Beautiful as the morning and strong as the truth
كان نداء الواجب دائم الحضور في وجدانه

تخطى جميع الحواجز وبلغ الهدف الذي حدده لنفسه
