Dear Parents,
Our recent field trip to Casa de las Artesanias in Masaya was a fantastic success! The students had a wonderful time and learned how their favorite toys are made. They were amazed to see the various stages of toy production and the elaboration of masks. They also learned some steps on how to use El Trompo.
Our tigers had a wonderful time during the Thanksgiving Potluck, and they wrote down the reasons why they feel grateful for the school, family, and friends. From December 2nd to December 6th, we will be celebrating Spirit Week. Please remember that there is no school on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. We hope everyone has a joyful and grateful Thanksgiving holiday!

Students will use a map, to determine distances between two cities, using estimation. They will use the data to complete calculations with 3 to 4 digit numbers. They will determine the reasonableness of their answers by compariing it to their estimations.

We will engage in a four corner debate to validate our reasons.
