4th Grade News

Dear parents,

We would like to thank you for attending our annual Open House. It was a pleasure getting to know each one of you and to discuss the needs of your child.

*Important note: In 4th grade we expect the students to take accountability and responsibility seriously as part of our core values. As part of this, we expect students to be responsible for their materials and homework schedule. Teachers will assist the students to gain responsibility towards their learning by reminding them of homework but will not send individual emails for missing materials or missing homework. Thank you for your understanding and supporting this initiative within the home.

This week we are launching a new unit in Math. Our students will continue to build multiplicative reasonings as they work with multi-digit multiplication and early division. For the next couple of days, they will work with base ten area pieces to investigate place value.

We look forward to Picture Day! On their photo day, students can come in casual clothing and are encouraged to wear solid colors. Please know that Primary students will not have an active PE class on photo day.
