Dear Families,

Our Essayists will have their first Writing Celebration this upcoming Thursday. Please help them during this weekend to finish their first essay publication. We will be celebrating each other’s growth by having a mini gallery walk and using a Peer Feedback chart!

Our Essayists will work harder to raise the quality of their Literary Essay by learning how to write introductions and conclusions using the language of Literary Scholars. In addition, they will look at all sides of a text and form complex ideas, adding depth to their writing.

Learning Goal

Students will be able to explore benchmarks and relative sizes for length, time , liquid volume, mass, and weight. Students will use ratio tables to convert units between the same measurement system, and apply some of the place value and multi -digit computational skills they have been practicing to solve story problems related to measurement.
