Wednesday, May 4, 2016 @ 0900 CDT: We left San Antonio yesterday morning and began our northerly migration. We made it was far as Dallas, where we stopped at Dealey Plaza (location of the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963) and then we made it to our hotel and out for dinner at the Pappadeaux nearby. Mmmmmmmmmm... Their food is SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I started with a dozen Blue Point oysters and followed that with Shrimp Creole & Grits... and then crème brûlée, of course. Yum!

As for today's plan? Well, given that the most interesting weather looks to be back towards my usual neck of the woods, and not in our chase territory, it looks like we'll just keep moving north. We're still expecting that the next system will be rolling our way by the weekend, so we need to meander north, to intercept it when it gets to Tornado Alley. But for today specifically? My guess would be Amarillo... and the Big Texan... where our bellies would get --EVEN BIGGER-- if that's possible...
