Thursday, May 30 @1200 CDT: Sorry for the late update today. We're headed out of Enid, OK now, faced with yet another Moderate Risk day. So far this year, whenever the SPC has categorized the day as a Mod Risk, we've ended up with busted chases. Let's hope that today changes that trend! So we're headed south now, moving in the general direction of Oklahoma City... and hoping that Moore is *NOT* involved in the day's action.
As for yesterday, well, it too was a Mod Risk day. 'Nuff said, huh? *frown* On the way to the hotel, we stopped for some lightning shot opportunities, and suddenly George realized that the lead van had a flat tire. No problem, right? Change the tire real quick and be back on our way, right? Nope. No such luck... Nothing on this tour has come easy, and this was not to be the exception. Anyway, to make a long L-O-N-G story very short, we rolled into the hotel at around midnight.
