Wednesday, May 27, 2015 @ 0800 CDT: After a long, but freakin' AWESOME, chase day yesterday, we got into our hotel late in Abilene. It's an early start for us today, too, because we may need to travel a bit to position ourselves for what looks to be fairly early initiation. As a result, I have not been able to process many of the pictures that I got yesterday, so please bear with me. I'll post them as soon as I can!

Wednesday, May 27, 2015 @ 2345 CDT: Three --- count 'em, THREE --- tornadoes in or near Canadian, TX... after we lost Jade when she broke three bones in one ankle and one bone in her other foot as she was coming down the stairs at the hotel this morning. She's already had surgery, and it seems like she's going to be just fine, fortunately, but it's really put a damper on our chase... and she's not too happy about it either!

It was a bittersweet day, to say the least.

And once again, you're gonna have to bear with me. Things have been so damn busy the last couple of days... good and bad... that I am falling farther and farther behind on photos and video... but once again, here's a teaser for ya! For now, though, I need sleep!
