Wednesday, May 11, 2016 @ 0900 CDT: Yesterday, we simply relocated... from Idabel, OK, to Joplin, MO... in the hopes that Mother Nature will give us some storms to chase today in Missouri. After we got settled into the hotel, we decided that barbecue was an absolute necessity for dinner, so we ended up going to BIG R'S BBQ (http://www.bigrsbbq.com/kitchen.html). And after having a meal there, I believe we are all in total agreement: If you're ever in the area and are hankerin' for some barbecue, GO THERE! Yummmmmmy! The ribs are excellent, as is the pulled pork! And they have HUUUUUUUGE pieces of pie for dessert!

As for today's chase opportunities, here's what the SPC says at the moment. It looks pretty marginal, with the highest probability of high winds and some hail, starting pretty late. Chances of tornadoes are pretty doubtful, but hey, who knows?
