Since we've committed ourselves to tomorrow's chase in Illinois/Indiana, the slight chance of tornadoes in the panhandle of Texas is not an option for us today. Tomorrow's setup looks very VERY good, though!

So with that in mind, we gassed up (at the local Kum & Go <smirk> <snicker> )...

... and have now gotten out of Joplin. We're heading towards St. Louis at this point. If all works out, we hope to hook up with Paul and Rachel when we're in their neck of the woods. And depending on what happens tomorrow, perhaps we can connect with Patti when we get to Illinois.

We ended up having a lot of fun at the Arch, and then later, at a great restaurant nearby called Jake's. All in all, a very fun day! Unfortunately, we missed seeing Paul and Rachel, but perhaps one or both will meet up with us on the chase tomorrow in Illinois. And it's also possible that Patti will hook up with us as well, if conditions permit it. That would be a lot of fun!
