Wednesday, May 8 @ 0930 CDT: Sorry for the delay in updating the site. We got into the hotel at around midnight and I was exhausted. Anyway, as for yesterday, we encountered some strong winds and mostly pea-size hail (with a few pennies). Not the greatest chase day ever, but it was far better than no chase at all! (Pictures from the day can be seen HERE.) It was a L-O-N-G day, but we are hoping that today will be even better! According to the SPC, there's a 2% chance of tornadic activity today, and we are already positioned nicely. Wish us luck!

Wednesday, May 8 @ 1245 CDT: The SPC has now updated the probability of tornadic activity to 5% in two areas.
