Since there was nothing out there to chase, today was a complete "tourist day" in Oklahoma City.
We hit the Oklahoma City Memorial, which I have been to once before, and it's very nicely done. It was my first opportunity to spend the time and go through the Memorial Museum, however. I would wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone who visits the Oklahoma City area. I got some nice pictures of the grounds, which I will post later. No pictures are allowed within the museum, though, so that part you will just have to experience for yourself.
After leaving the memorial, we headed to Bricktown, in downtown Oklahoma City. Several of us took the opportunity to catch the new Star Trek movie, and we all absolutely loved it! If you're a Trekker, by all means, go see this one in the theater!!! Then we all regrouped and had a delicious Italian dinner at Zio's, also in the Bricktown area. Mmmmmmmmmmm... Of course, as usual I ate too much, so I'm now doing my beached whale imitation.
All of the day's photos can be seen HERE.
