Wednesday, May 15 @ 0900 CDT: Yesterday saw us delayed leaving Norman, OK, due to a problem with Van #2 and a "Shaun Outbreak," but since it was simply a relocation day (back to Wichita Falls, TX), it wasn't a huge problem. When we got to Wichita Falls, it became apparent that we might have a chance at some lightning shots later in the evening to our southwest, so after we grabbed some dinner, we headed out. And as it turned out, we all had a blast! You can see a few of my feeble attempts HERE.
So for today, we've got a 2% chance of tornadoes in our vicinity, according to the SPC. Things are still looking far better for Saturday and beyond, but we can't pass up a chance for today!
