Thursday, May 7, 2015 @ 0900 CDT: We chased yesterday in southern Kansas, and although a line of cells initiated between Greensburg and La Crosse, none of them cooperated. Instead, we were all riveted to the radar screen, concerned about the Oklahoma City area, who, once again, got pummeled. From the early reports, though, most were extremely lucky. Whew!!!

As for today, we're probably moving a bit south. It looks like we will be chasing in this general vicinity for at least the next couple of days, until the system moves off to the east on Sunday or Monday. It has been an incredible string of weather days for the southern plains, and we hope to see some more beautiful storms before Mother Nature is done.

Thursday, May 7, 2015 @ 1130 CDT: We are leaving Oklahoma City now, heading towards Childress, TX once again. Hmmm... Weren't we just there yesterday morning? *lol*

By the way, you can see a few pictures from yesterday by going HERE... though there's really not a whole lot to show of consequence, other than the radar captures of the OKC storm cells. And here's yesterday's travel map.

Thursday, May 7, 2015 @ 1200 CDT: Here's the updated tornado outlook for today from the SPC.

Thursday, May 7, 2015 @ 2300: When we left Oklahoma City in the morning, we saw some of the peripheral damage from the tornadoes on Wednesday. One can only imagine what the worst areas looked like! Anyway, we proceeded to Texas for the day's chase, and there we got to see some massive flash flooding today in Archer County, Texas, but that's about it. We called it a day in the hope that the upcoming moderate risk days –- Friday and Saturday –- will pan out better for us.

You can see photos from the day by going HERE.
