No idea yet if we will be heading down to Amarillo today, but my guess is that we probably will. Things still look excellent for Monday... most likely in northern Oklahoma into Kansas.
We'll probably head north on Sunday, perhaps getting a little bit of a show before things go nuts (we hope!) on Monday. Keep your fingers crossed, everybody, 'cause we need some action! Of course, also keep your fingers crossed that if things --DO-- go nuts, that all the action happens in the middle of a cornfield, out in the middle of nowhere. We do --NOT-- want any people or structures involved!
If you'd care to see some silly pictures from yesterday, go HERE.

Well, it's a good thing I'm not a betting man, because we never left Oklahoma City today. Rather than heading to Amarillo, we stayed in OKC and entertained ourselves locally... first with a visit to the Oklahoma City National Memorial (http://www.oklahomacitynationalmemorial.org/index.php) and then a visit to Bricktown, where many of us caught a movie (Iron Man 2, for me) and dinner at Zio's (fine Italian food). And as it turns out, we will once again be staying in OKC tomorrow as well, since this is a good point of origin for Monday's chase, given the latest information that we have on the weather patterns.
